CENTURYLINK BRAND 2014
CenturyLink was Peter Mayer's biggest client for over a decade, and by 2011 the account had grown so large that the agency had to create the Studio just to keep up with their production schedule. I was a part of the Studio team almost from its beginning and spent about 80% of my three-year tenure there dedicated to ensuring the quality of CenturyLink's print files.
In 2013, Peter Mayer was awarded the National Brand and Government Brand work for CenturyLink. The client was so pleased with that year’s work that they came back to Peter Mayer in 2014 to refresh and expand the campaign.
The Brand project included a $40 million national media buy with ads in print and online publications including Forbes, Fortune, WIRED, and The Wall Street Journal, as well as large-format environmental pieces for the “Station Domination” series covering L’Enfant Plaza Station in Washington, D.C.
While the creative department handled the initial concept and photo shoot, my Studio team was responsible for all collateral design, versioning, image retouching, production, quality assurance, and delivery of the final files to over 20 different vendors, each with their own specific set of file requirements.
